Vasectomy surgery

Vasectomy is known as a permanent method of contraception. The purpose of the vasectomy procedure is to prevent sperm from entering the urethra and therefore prevent pregnancy.

Varicocele surgery

Varicocele is a medical term given to the enlargement and swelling of the vein in the scrotum of the testicles (eggs) in men. They are similar to varicose veins that occur on the legs. It is more common in young men and adolescents.

Varicocelectomy: This surgery is an open surgical method. It is one of the most preferred methods. The surgery can be performed under general or local anesthesia. Generally, this operation can be performed in one day as an outpatient treatment. The urologist doctor who will perform the surgery must approach the affected vessels through the inguinal route or under the groin. It is possible to make an incision in the abdomen during the procedure. After this procedure, your doctor will compress or tie off the abnormal vein using a microscope. In this operation, the blood flow should pass around the veins.

Varicocele embolization: It is a surgery that requires more surgical intervention than open surgery. During surgery, a small hollow plastic tube is inserted into the inguinal vein. With the help of the injection in this placed tube and the varicocele, the tissues are destroyed. Thanks to this operation, the blood is prevented from reaching the abnormal vessels.

 

Ureteral stone surgery

In the treatment of ureteral stones, planning is done based on the number, size and location of the stones. In general, calculations of less than 5 mm fall spontaneously. Another situation is that in cases where the ureteral stone is between 5 mm and 10 mm, the probability of spontaneous fall of the ureteral stone is half. Various treatment methods can be applied for large stones that do not fall off by themselves.
